Before booking our beginner wave, we recommend that you take at least one lesson with us. Find out more about our surf lessons here. All wave sessions start with a short safety briefing in our surf academy followed by approx. 55 minutes in the lagoon. You can expect to catch up to 18 whitewater beginner waves per session. You must use our Softech boards on this wave.
There will be a maximum of six surfers in each beginner bay. Please note: you must wear wetsuit boots (supplied by us and included in your wetsuit hire) in our beginner bays.
Adults are classed as anyone aged 13 or over.
Children aged 8-12 must be accompanied by another adult taking part in the session.
Children aged 5-7 are welcome to surf with us but they should be booked into child-only lessons and must be accompanied in the water by a non-surfing adult. Children’s lessons are open to 5-12 year olds and can be booked here.
